Terms of Service
Terms version 2026-08-24-draft. This operational draft requires final legal review before production publication.
Realmkeeper service
Realmkeeper helps Discord communities and tabletop roleplaying game participants create, publish, discover, manage, and join events. The service may include profiles, messages, event responses, waitlists, approvals, reminders, recurring schedules, free and paid listings, subscriptions, Paid Listing Credits, and administrative settings.
Your content and permission to use it
You must own material you upload or have the permission or license needed to submit it. You grant Realmkeeper a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, resize, reproduce, display, and distribute submitted material only as needed to operate, secure, and present the service. You remain responsible for both website-hosted and Discord-hosted images and other content you choose to use.
User-Submitted Images and Publisher Fan Content
You may upload an image only when you own it, have permission to use it, or are otherwise authorized to use it under applicable law or the copyright owner’s published fan-content policy.
Publisher fan-content policies may impose conditions on how artwork is displayed. You are responsible for complying with those conditions, including requirements that content remain freely accessible, unofficial, properly attributed, and unaltered. You must not remove, crop out, obscure, or modify embedded copyright notices, trademarks, logos, artist credits, or other legal notices when the applicable policy prohibits doing so.
A Realmkeeper subscription, Pro feature, listing credit, or other paid service does not grant permission to use third-party intellectual property. Official publisher artwork must not be used to promote a paid game, paid service, subscription, or other commercial offering unless you have written permission or the publisher’s policy expressly permits that use.
Open gaming licenses and system reference documents do not grant rights to book covers, illustrations, logos, or other artwork unless those materials are expressly included in the applicable license.
You grant Realmkeeper a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, resize, display, and transmit your uploaded image only as necessary to provide Realmkeeper’s services and requested integrations. You retain any ownership rights you possess in the image.
Realmkeeper does not endorse user-uploaded content and does not represent that an uploaded image is authorized. Realmkeeper may remove, restrict, replace, or disable access to any image in response to a rights-holder request, suspected infringement, policy violation, or legal requirement. Repeated infringement may result in suspension or termination of the responsible account.
When using artwork owned by Wizards of the Coast, you must comply with the current Wizards Fan Content Policy, including its access, attribution, unofficial-content, trademark, and removal requirements: https://company.wizards.com/en/legal/fancontentpolicy
Realmkeeper is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast or any other game publisher.
Prohibited and infringing content
Do not submit illegal, infringing, deceptive, malicious, harassing, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited material. Realmkeeper may restrict or remove content, listings, profiles, community pages, messages, or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or preserve the service.
Copyright and takedown reports
Rights holders may report suspected copyright infringement through Realmkeeper’s feedback and safety-reporting channels. A complete report should identify the protected work, the material at issue, a way to contact the reporter, and a good-faith statement of authorization and accuracy. Realmkeeper may remove or restrict reported material while reviewing a claim.
Repeat infringement
Realmkeeper may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly submit infringing material or repeatedly disregard valid rights-holder notices, taking the circumstances and available evidence into account.
Free and paid listings
Free listings do not require Paid Listing Credits. One Paid Listing Credit activates or renews one paid listing period. Publishing or unpublishing during that active period does not consume another credit. Paid listings receive no search, ranking, placement, approval, or promotional priority merely because they are paid. Player-to-organizer payments are outside Realmkeeper in this release.
Moderation
Violations may result in content removal, unpublishing of free or paid listings, messaging restrictions, listing restrictions, server restrictions, suspension, or termination. Purchasing a Paid Listing Credit or subscription does not exempt content from moderation.
Trials
A Pro trial lasts 14 days and may be used only once by a Realmkeeper account and only once by a Discord server. Development trials require no payment method and do not automatically renew or charge.
